In designing Thunder Pointe we let nature be our guide. We took full advantage of the splendor of the Cumberland and Smoky Mountains to create a peaceful, gated community on the shore of Tellico Lake.

Private docks and a private marina offer you a choice of waterfront lifesytles. Tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, and a private stacked-stone lodge are just a few of our improvements on nature's bounty. Thunder Pointe is just 25 minutes south of Knoxville. Driving Directions

From Asheville:
I-40 West airport/Smoky Mountain exit (#368B).
Drive for 13 miles. After airport, go right at split towards Fontana/Atlanta. Road turns into 411 (south). Drive for 16.5 miles into Vonore. Turn left on Citico Road between Sloans BP and Hardee's. Thunder Pointe is on the right (2 miles).
Follow the signs.

From Knoxville/Lexington:
I-75 South to 275 toward Knoxville. Airport/Smoky Mountain exit (#368B). Drive for 13 miles. After airport, go right at split towards Fontana/Atlanta. Road turns into 411 (south). Drive for 16.5 miles into Vonore. Turn left on Citico Road between Sloans BP and Hardee's. Thunder Pointe is on the right (2 miles). Follow the signs.

From Chattanooga/Atlanta:
I-75 North to Exit 60 (Sweetwater/Spring City). Right on Highway 68 toward Sweetwater, 12 miles to highway 411. Take 411 North for 9.5 miles to Citico Road in Vonore. Turn right on Citico Road between Hardee's and Sloans BP. Thunder Pointe is on the right (2 miles). Follow the Signs
